My approach to leadership is simple: show up, listen, collaborate, and get to work. I believe Austin ISD is strongest when families have a meaningful voice, teachers are true partners, and our community works together to support every student.

Make every dollar count. Reduce waste. Leverage every resource. We can strengthen our schools by maximizing what we have and building partnerships beyond the district budget.
Teachers are closest to the classroom and understand what students need to succeed. I will champion genuine collaboration with educators and make sure their experience and expertise are part of the decisions that shape our schools.
Every decision should come back to one question: Does this help our students thrive? I will advocate for strong academics, meaningful opportunities, and the social and emotional support students need to succeed.
Families know their children best. I will listen to families, create meaningful opportunities for their voices to be heard, and strengthen the connection between families and schools.
